About the consultation

Before the consultation

• Book your appointment online via Doctolib.
• Bring your current glasses or contact lenses, along with any previous prescriptions and examination results.
• Bring your national health insurance card (Carte Vitale) and your complementary health insurance details.

During the consultation

1. Discussion of your medical history and the reason for your visit.
2. Vision measurement and comprehensive eye examination.
3. Fundus examination, sometimes after pupil dilation.
4. Explanations, diagnosis, and referral if required.

After the consultation

A consultation report may be sent to your GP. If your pupils have been dilated, your vision will remain blurred and light-sensitive for a few hours.
